A thin steam plume rises from the summit of Telica itself (right-center), while the cone of Cerro de Aguero lies at the left-center, with shadows defining older, more dissected parts of the Telica complex. The forested ridge of La Pelona caldera (part of the San Cristóbal complex) cuts across the lower part of the photo, while Momotombo (left), Las Pilas, and Cerro Asososco (right) lie on the horizon.
